The James Lister Band specialises in delivering exceptional musical entertainment for any event at a highly competitive rate. We perform songs that audiences of all ages know and love in Disco, Soul, Motown, Pop and Swing styles. Based in Surrey, we have excellent travel links for London and the Home Counties, as well as the rest of the country.

Our male and female vocalists have outstanding talent, having performed extensively in London, the UK, and around Europe. The instrumentalists have performed together countless times in various set-ups over the last fifteen years. Combine this with the fact that we are all old friends, and the result is a fantastic upbeat and immensely affable party band.

The 6 piece line up enables us to offer an affordable price; unlike some larger bands, whilst still delivering a vast sound with a brass section, two vocalists, backing vocals and rhythm section. We provide our own lights and PA system, and offer to play recorded music in between our two one hour dance sets if you so desire.
